IBRAHIM AUYO, MD/CE (Managing Director/Chief Executive)

Auyo Ibrahim Usman was born in Auyo town Kano, Nigeria. He spent his childhood years in Karkasara Quarters in Kano. He attended Auyo Elementary Primary School where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate from Rumfa College. He had his first appointment on 6th February 1968 with the aviation industry. His desire to serve in the aviation industry made him to obtain other professional qualifications such as Diploma in Air Traffic services, Area Airways Certificate, International Standards A.T.C Radar Certificate, and Management Performance Improvement Certificate.
He is an excellent and experienced man in the aviation industry. He has skillfully served as an Air Traffic Control Officer for several years at M.M. Airport and Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA). From 1980-1990, he acted and occupied the post of Chief of Facility at Port-Harcourt Airport and later at Kaduna Airport . After several promotions, he was then appointed as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), after a competitive selection interview for the post. ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) appointed him as a Regional Officer for the Western and Central African States from 2003 to 2008.
He is a highly sought after speaker and has presented several papers to his credit. He has attained many international meetings and seminars, among which are, ICAO Second workshop on Aerodrome Emergency Planning for Western and Central African Region at Doula (1990), Open Skies meeting in Washington U.S.A Conference on the Economics of Airports and Airports and Air Navigation Services, and Air Show (2001).
Without any skeptic, he is an epitome of success. His prowess and dedication has earned him several awards such as: Award for distinguished  services to Nigeria Aviation Industry, Aviation Merit Award, and Recognition Award (June 2000), Award of Merit (2000), Corporate Merit Award, and ECOWAS international Gold Award (May 2000).
Indeed, the success story of the Nigeria Aviation Industry cannot be told without mentioning his name because of his consistent progress in Air Traffic Management and outstanding contribution to the development of Aviation Industry. He was re-appointed as the Managing Director of NAMA by the Federal Government of Nigeria on 18th February 2009.
 
ADEBISI ADEDARA, DOO (Director of Operations)
Adebisi Adedara, a seasoned Air Traffic Controller attended St. Benedict’s Model School and Annunciation School, all in Ikere Ekiti. Upon the Completion of his secondary school career, he proceeded to the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria, where he obtained Diploma in Air Traffic Control in October, 1979 and Diploma Terminal Approach Radar in 1983.
He began his early career in 1979 as an Air Traffic Officer Kaduna Airport in 1987. He became the Air Traffic Control Officer Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos. Head of Air Traffic Control services Murtala Muhammed Airport 1992-1994. Chief Air Traffic Officer Proficiency and Man Power Development, NATS Headquarters, Lagos 1995-1996, Attachment at Area Control Center Kotoka International Airport, Accra, Ghana 1995.
From 1991-2001 Adebisi Adedara was appointed member National Air Traffic Services Rating Board because of his love for education he enrolled at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho where he obtained a master degree in transport management in 2001 and came out in flying colours. His rating include; Aerodrome, Approach, Terminal Approach Radar and SAR Mission co-ordinator.
In 2000 Adebisi Adedara became head of Department, Air Traffic Services Murtala Airport Ikeja, Airspace Manager Maiduguri Airport 2000-2002, Deputy Regional Airspace Manager South Regional Headquarters Lagos, Airspace Manager Murtala Muhammed International Airport Ikeja 2003-2004, Regional Headquarters, Lagos,2004-2006 General Manager Murtala Muhammed International Airport Ikeja 2006-2007, NCAA Approved Examiner for Airspace Services, General Manager Search and Rescue NAMA 2007-2008, General Manager ATC Operations 2008-2009 before he was appointed as the director of Operation NAMA in February 2009. He is married and he is blessed with children.
 
ENGR. UDOH, DSEES (Director of Safety Electronics and Engineering Services)
Mazi Nnamdi Nwafor Udoh is the current Director of Safety Electronics and Engineering Services, in the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency Ikeja (NAMA). This man, who is as old as Nigeria, was born on 8th May 1960 and hails from Arochukwu Local Government, Abia State. He is married man with 29 years of professional experience in the provision of Air Navigation Services, with bias in Air Safety Management for Surveillance, Calibration and Logistics. He had his first appointment in1980.
Udoh attended Aggrey Primary School, and proceeded to National High School, Abia State where he obtained, Senior School Certificate then to Nigeria College of Aviation Technology, Zaria. He forged ahead to obtain higher qualifications by attending Transport Canada Training Institute, Canada and London City University, London.
The qualified Engineer is full of strategies and thinks big. He was awarded by the then Minister of Aviation, Alhaji Isa Yuguda, as part of the team that successfully reinstalled the Kaduna Airport VOR/DME Navigational Aid and Equipment that got burnt then. He was also involved in professional courses such as; ICAO CNS/ATM System Seminar (2004), AFI Regional Search and Rescue Workshop (1999), among others.
He is a bonafide member of Royal Aeronautical Society (MRAeS), National Association of Air Traffic Engineers, International Federation of Air Traffic Safety Electronic Association (IFATSEA), Nigeria Institute of Management (MNIM). Despite his tight schedule, he loves travelling and Events Management. His presence has brought solution to the challenges in the Nigerian Aviation Industry. He is currently in charge of the on-going multi-billion naira TRACON project that has successfully delivered modern Air Traffic System in Lagos and Abuja Airport.
 
MRS.ELIZABETH AGOM, DFA (Director Finance and Admin)
Mrs. Elizabeth Evelyn Agom is the current Director of Finance and Administration in the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA). Mrs. Agom was born on 22nd December 1953, hails from Okpokwu Idoma Local Government in Benue State. The mother of four and title owner of the Itekwu of Idoma Land resides in Lagos State. She is outspoken and a fluent speaker of Idoma, Hausa and English languages.
She obtained her early academic qualification in the northern part of Nigeria. From 1962-1966, she attended  St.Louis Primary School in Kano and proceeded to the secondary school where she obtained her Senior Secondary Certificate between to 1967 and 1971. She proceeded to Kaduna polytechnic where she obtained on OND in Accounting between 1974 and 1976.
As a young Accountant, she was employed as Accounting Machine Operator by Defunct Benue Plateau Marketing Board in 1976. Her outstanding performance made her to be re-employed as their Accountant in 1976. Despite her prowess in Accounting, to her the sky is her limit, she went ahead to obtain B.A in Accounting at Biscayne College, Miami, Florida, USA between 1979 and 1981. The crucial need to improve her country’s financial state made her to always render an accurate account and balance through the discharge of her duties.
As a qualified and disciplined accountant who never misses nor misplaces any figure, she was appointed and promoted as the Senior Accountant of the Nigerian Airports Authority in June, 1987. Her acquisition of promotion in the government sector without doubt is undeniable, amazing and rewarding. Her ascension up the ladder came with promotion as Principal Accountant, 1990 (NAMA), Chief Accountant 1996 (Defunct NAA), Assistant Gen. Manager, Finance 2000 (NAMA), Deputy Gen. Manager Finance 2002 (NAMA) and appointed as Director of Finance & Administration, February 2009 till date in NAMA.
To her credit, she is a bonafide member of professional association such as; Chartered Institute of Cost Management, Association of National  Accountants of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Cost & Management Accountants, Nigeria Institute of Management.  She is a member of boards of Survey, Senior Staff Promotion Committee, Anti- Corruption Committee, Training Committee, and H.I.V Awareness Committee.
 
MRS AFOLAKE ABIMBADE ST. MATTHEW DANIELS, CS/LA (Company Secretary/Legal Adviser)
Mrs. Afolake Abimbade St. Matthews Daniel attended Queens School at Ibadan 1971 and 1975, proceeded to Ibadan Polytechnic, 1975-1977, University of Ife, Ile-Ife.
Nigerian Law School, Lagos 1982-1983. Her quest for knowledge is insatiable and would not settle for less, she went ahead to London School of Insurance, Holborn 1988-1989, Chartered Institute of Insurance, Seven Oaks, United Kingdom 1989-1990. She holds two Degrees: Bachelor of Law (LL.B) and Barrister of Law (B.L).
She started her working career with Laws Junior at Olisa Chukwu & Co, Ibadan from 1983-1987. She moved up to the position of Company Secretary and Legal Adviser of Femi Johnson & Company Ibadan from 1984-1987. This brilliant Lawyer left the shores of Nigeria to become Legal Officer at the Lord Chancellor’s Department ,London from 1989-1990.
On returning from London, Afolake worked at Nigeria Joint Agency, Apapa as Insurance Executive. In 1992, she worked as Chief Executive Officer of Contract International and as Senior Partner in the Law firm Isokpan and Company till December, 2006 when she was appointed Director Corporate Affairs Legal Services of Nigerian Airspace Management Agency. She was appointed again as Company Secretary/ Legal Adviser in February, 2009. Despite her busy schedule she has ample time for reading, cooking and travelling.
